Nmap 4.20 Ubuntu Edgy and Debian Sarge backports
After a six-month development series with 13 beta releases, Insecure.Org is pleased to announce the immediate, free availability of the Nmap Security Scaner version 4.20 from the Nmap download page.
Changes in this release include a second generation OS detection system, IP option support (source routing, record route, etc.), an –open option for showing only open ports, version detection database updates, more detailed XML output, and dozens of bug fixes and performance enhancements. Postgresql 8.2 backport for Ubuntu Edgy
“This release touches almost every command and database facility,” said PostgreSQL core team member and EnterpriseDB database architect Bruce Momjian. “It adds expanded, compatible syntax and interfaces which have been requested by our community, making it easier for new DBAs to fully use all of PostgreSQL’s advanced features.”
